紫菜,正

I get lots of 紫菜 left at home. I wanted to make the soup I tasted at a restaurant but it never turned out. Now I can try Ding Yeh's recipe.

It should be available in China Town. I will check it out when I visit CT. But my Chinese cooking is not even remotely closely to his level. I dont think I can make his dishes.

Hong Kong book is at least 3x the price here. I saw a photo of the book and it looks quite heavy with fancy printing. So it may cost a lot here. Given that a lot of ingredients Ding Yeh uses are not available here, i may not buy the book if it costs much. Cooking is really an art, not a science. I think i have already learned a lot from watching his videoes. I think i will try 紅豆沙。

BTW, That 西米布甸 looks quite "mamadee."

I hope Ding Yeh would make Soy Sauce Chicken Wings next. I think my seasoning is perfect, but the meat of my wings is always too tough. Or Deep-fried Chicken Wings. How to keep the meat tender and 滑。
